Definition:
ReplyDeleteThe generation of people who became adults in or after the 2010s, viewed as being less resilient and more prone to taking offence than previous generations.
I don't think I belong to this generation because I don't really mind being contradicted or being offended at times.

The "Snowflake" generation appeared at young people born after the 90s. The most known characteristics of this generation are sensitivity, narcissism, the tendency to exaggerate, low self-esteem, the obsessive need for protection.
ReplyDeleteObsessive need for protection is causedâ because parents gave everything to children without risk or effort, make them unable to face it, in difficult times in their lives. They don't know how to handle and dependent on others. Another discussed point of view of this generation is social media. Children and teenagers use many platforms where they express their opinions and feelings, most of them listening to certain advice from people all over social media but, not always being the solution. By exposing their feelings they end up being ruined and they feed on this always pain, caused to a tendency to exaggerate.
The tendency to exaggerate from my point of view is also caused by the fact that the new generation is kepeping in the fluff, taking care of themselves, doing nothing, and when faced with a situation they feel the need to exaggerate receiving attention or being help.
The advantages of this generation is that we can have access to the Internet and translated books, we can inform ourselves and rich our culture and vocabulary. Advanced technology is a beneficial factor, but also a negative factor if it is used in excess and not for documentation purposes, ending up ignoring the people around us being absorbed.
I consider myself between, I belong to the "Snowflake" generation because I have low self-esteem, I'm anxious and always agitated trying to please everyone, but in my opinion I don't express my feelings online and prefer to write them in a journal or discuss them with close people to me, I don't have a tendency to exaggerate, but I will try to fix the other things about me and my mental health.

DeleteThe "snowflakes " generation was born many years ago, but in 2010s the young adults viewed as being less resilient and more prone to talking offence than previous generation.
ReplyDeleteThe snowflakes are entitled, narcissistic, self-absorbed, sensitive, and overly emotional. These can lead to anxiety, stress and judgment by other.
Many teenagers from my generation feel insecure about themselves because of the judgments, some put their feelings on social media platforms and trust people they don't know. Other teenagers feel humiliated by their parents who argue with them because of their grades or they don't learn for the next day. Their parents talk bad to them and that's how the and up not being sure of themselves.
In my opinion, I can say that I am also part of the snowflake generation because when I was younger I was closed in myself and I listened to all the evil people who humiliated me and like that I ended up having anxiety, being sensitive and many other things. But I've been studying for year now how to get or it and I feel better about myself.

DeleteRunning outside in the pouring rain is never a good idea, but on that Sunday afternoon I felt like I had no choice. It seemed like a normal day, I was studying and writing, my brother was playing with cars and drawing, my mother was cooking and my father was fixing the door. It was cloudy and dark.
ReplyDeleteAt one point it start to flash.
Once...twice...and the third time there heard a bark. A loud barking was coming from our garden. It was my dog Boofy who was strike by lightning. I ran without an umbrella, leaving the door open behind me. I bought him home and my parents put a bandage on him and called the vet. I was scared and worried because she is my dog that I got 7 years ago for my birthday, she is my best friend.
The vet came to us and treated her. He told us to change the bandages and gave her one pill
for daily. I'm happy for my friend Boofy that she's going to get better.
