Kakapou lives in New Zealand and has got a lifetime of around 100 years.
Kakapou cannot fly because of its short wings and because it weighs too much for a bird.
Another  reason is because it doesn't have any predators and it became flightless and lazy.
During his mating period it makes a sound similar to a frog that it could be heard from 5km away.
It is a bird with whiskers needed to find its way at night.
